Save time with invoice templates

Turn invoices you send often into reusable presets you can load in one tap.

If you bill the same clients for the same work, templates save you re-typing it every time.

What a template stores

A template is a reusable preset of an invoice's content — the business and client, line items, taxes, discounts, notes, currency, and payment terms. It stores the payment term as a relative offset (for example, "due in 14 days"), so each invoice you create from it gets fresh dates.

Create a template

There are two ways:

  • From scratch: go to Templates and choose Create Template, then fill in the details you reuse.
  • From an existing invoice: open any invoice and choose Save as Template. Papr strips the one-off details (dates, amounts) and keeps the reusable structure.

Use a template

When you create a new invoice, use Load from template and pick one. Papr fills in all the content and generates a fresh invoice number and dates — you just review and send.

Templates control what's on the invoice. Choosing how invoices look (designs and branding) is on our roadmap.
